ريم هو مشروع أوروبي بتمويل مشترك من برنامج الاتحاد الأوروبي "إيراسموس +" الذي يضم سبعة شركاء في أربع دول أوروبية: ألمانيا وإيطاليا ورومانيا وإسبانيا.
مستوحاة من مشروع تتحقق داخل جدران سجن دوزا في بولونيا (إيت) يهدف ريم لمنع التطرف العنيف وتعزيز القيم الديمقراطية والحقوق الأساسية.
وللقيام بذلك، يقوم الاتحاد بإنشاء وحدات تدريبية للمهاجرين يمكن أن تسهل الحوار والتفكير الذاتي بشأن الحقوق والواجبات والاختلافات الثقافية.
وسيعمل كل شريك على تخطيط وتنفيذ وحدات تدريبية للمهاجرين في سياقات اجتماعية مختلفة، على سبيل المثال. والمجتمعات المضيفة، والسجون، ودورات اللغات وما إلى ذلك.
